UPPER MARLBORO, Md., March 23 -- Prince George's County Public Schools issued the following news release:
Buck Lodge Middle School student Kelly Han won the 2017 Prince George's County Spelling Bee and will compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee at National Harbor in May. She will also participate in Bee Week (May 28-June 3) leading up to the national competition.
Han's awards include a trophy from Champion Awards, Trophies and Goods, Inc.; $500 check and gift . . .
