WASHINGTON, March 23 -- The National Association of Broadcasters issued the following news release:
Eight Representatives and one Senator have joined as cosponsors of a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The Local Radio Freedom Act (LRFA) now has 164 cosponsors in the House and 18 in the Senate.
