ORANGE, Calif., Feb. 24 -- Chapman University issued the following news release:
Chapman University is the recipient of the largest reported gift in institutional history. A $100 million commitment from Dale and Sarah Ann Fowler was announced this morning during President Daniele Struppa's inaugural State of the University address. The new funding from the Fowlers will be earmarked for a future school of engineering.
