TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif., Jan. 20 -- The National Park Service's Joshua Tree National Park issued the following news release:
Joshua Tree National Park - The Park has implemented a planning process to expand the existing visitor facilities adjacent to the Cottonwood Visitor Center on the southern border of the park. The 20 year old, double-wide trailer that currently serves as the park's visitor center can no longer meet the needs of an increasing number of park visitors.
