WASHINGTON, Dec. 18 -- The office of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., issued the following news release:

U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) released the following statement today on Sony Pictures Entertainment's decision to cancel an upcoming movie in the face of cyber-attacks directed by North Korea:

"Recently reported intelligence findings that North Korea directed cyber-attacks at Sony Pictures Entertainment and Sony Pictures' decision to cancel the release of an upc . . .
