LAS VEGAS, Dec. 18 -- The office of Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., issued the following news release:
Nevada Senator Harry Reid announced today the appointment of Sheriff Mike Haley to the Public Safety Officer Medal Of Valor Review Board. The Public Safety Officer Medal Act was created by Congress to honor acts of heroism and bravery for first responders including police officers, fire officers, and EMS personnel.
