ROCKVILLE, Md., Dec. 2 -- Montgomery County issued the following council news release:
The 18th Montgomery County Council, which was inaugurated today in ceremonies at Richard Montgomery High School, at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, will elect new officers for the upcoming year. Prior to the election, outgoing Councilmember Craig Rice will deliver remarks reflecting on his one year as Council president.
