Viewers Choose Broadcast Television News Over Cable to Watch President's ISIS Speech

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 -- The National Association of Broadcasters issued the following news release:

Three times as many Americans tuned into broadcast television news channels than cable news networks to watch President Barack Obama's September 10 speech regarding U.S. military actions against the extremist group Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), according to recently released Nielsen data.
