WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 -- The U.S. Department of Defense issued the following news release:
Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis announced today that the president has made the following nominations:
Air Force Col. Ronald G. Allen Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Allen is currently serving as the commander, 341st Missile Wing, Air Force Global Strike Command, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana.
