WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 -- EMILY's List issued the following statement by Executive Director Emily Cain after the House passed the tax bill:
"This is today's Grand Ole Party: a group obsessed with giving kickbacks to the ultra-rich and making life harder for working families and the middle class. This bill will lead to cuts in Medicare, education programs, and other social services while gifting massive tax breaks to corporations. This is just not what we stand for as Americans.&qu . . .
