WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 -- Rep. Daniel Kildee, D-Mich., issued the following statement after Republicans in Congress passed their tax bill that will raise taxes on tens of millions of middle class families:
"I am from Flint, Michigan--my hometown is a case study of what happens when government puts corporate profits ahead of people. In Michigan, corporations got massive tax breaks while the state cut essential services for Flint families, including public safety and schools.
