WASHINGTON, Oct. 17 -- The office of Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., issued the following statement on the announcement that Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., chairman of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, and Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., ranking member of the panel, have reached an agreement on a bipartisan healthcare deal to fund an insurance subsidy program:
