WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 -- The Center on Budget & Policy Priorities issued the following news release:
The Senate Budget Committee is reportedly considering using in its budget resolution a "current policy" baseline instead of the traditional "current law" baseline for evaluating policy changes[1] -- a seemingly arcane maneuver that, in fact, would make it much easier to enact $439 billion of regressive tax cuts over ten years by hiding their fiscal and distribut . . .
