WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 -- Rep. Jose E. Serrano, D-N.Y., issued the following statement in response to President Trump's press conference where commented on the Charlottesville tragedy:
"The President only added fuel to the fire by changing his statement on the tragedy that occurred in Charlottesville and going back to his initial response where he blamed both sides for the events that took place in Charlottesville. He continues to divide our nation by defending white supremacists, . . .
