BANGOR, Maine, Aug. 13 -- The University of Southern Maine issued the following news release:
USM's Richard Barringer was interviewed by NPR's Tom Ashbrook of "On Point" at the USM Portland campus on the topic of Portland's changing economy.
"Economically this is the most prosperous time for Portland, Maine since the Civil War," said Barringer. As Portland's economy flourishes, its increasing housing costs is forcing people out of their homes.
