WASHINGTON, Aug. 11 -- The U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory issued the following news release:

The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy (FE) has selected an additional five projects to receive $4.8 million to investigate novel uses of carbon dioxide (CO2) captured from coal-fired power plants.
