WASHINGTON, July 19 -- The Rockefeller Foundation issued the following statement by Rajiv Shah at the National Academy of Engineering Global Grand Challenges Summit:
Thank you, Dr. [Dan] Mote, for that warm introduction. It's wonderful to be with all of you this morning. I have to say that engineers have a special place in my heart...in part because my father was an engineer who worked on the Apollo program, and after that at Ford Motor Company.
