LONDON, March 28 -- SOAS, University of London issued the following news:
Professor Michael Hutt, Director of the SOAS Asia Institute, has been awarded an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) grant of GBP 576,419 to lead a 3 year project exploring the impact of the 2016 Nepal earthquakes on Nepali society.
Whilst physical impact of a natural disaster such as a major earthquake is immediately visible, the longer-term impact of such an event is less apparent. ' . . .
