WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 -- The office of Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., issued the following news release:
Today, US Senator Bill Cassidy, MD (R-LA) introduced the Natural Gas Truck Parity Act of 2016, a bi-partisan and bi-cameral bill, in the US Senate. This bill would amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to create a partial exclusion for alternative fuel trucks from the excise tax imposed on heavy-duty trucks sold at retail.
