AUGUSTA, Maine, Aug. 26 -- The Maine Democratic Party issued the following news release:
Maine Democratic Party Chairman Phil Bartlett today called out Gov. Paul LePage for his outrageous remarks in which he referred to racial minorities as "the enemy" and suggested that they should be shot.
"Governor LePage, after using a homophobic slur when threatening a sitting lawmaker, said he wanted to shoot Rep. Drew Gattine 'right between his eyes,'" sai . . .
