WASHINGTON, May 26 -- Rep. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., issued the following statement on the Fiscal 17 Energy and Water Appropriations Act:
"Mr. Speaker, I rise in opposition to the Energy and Water Appropriations Act. This is now the second appropriations bill that has been brought to the Floor without a budget plan from House Republicans and without disclosure of the 302(b) allocations for all subcommittees. This backwards process makes it impossible to make informed judgments . . .
