FRESNO, Calif., July 1 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of California issued the following news release:
Shavane Bouasangouane, 44, of Fresno, was sentenced today to four years and nine months in prison for his involvement in a large marijuana cultivation operation on agricultural land in Fresno County, United States Attorney Benjamin B. Wagner announced. Bouasangouane was also ordered to register as a drug offender.
