DALLAS, Jan. 20 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas issued the following news release:
John Ray Cheek was sentenced today by Chief U.S. District Judge Sidney A. Fitzwater to 141 months in federal prison for committing the April 28, 2011, armed bank robbery at a Bank of America location in Irving, Texas, announced U.S. Attorney Sarah R. Saldana of the Northern District of Texas.
Cheek pleaded guilty on October 14, 2011, to one count of bank robber . . .
