WASHINGTON, Jan. 19 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded more than $2.9 million to the state of Texas for upgrades to an existing storm sewer system at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) will pay 75 percent or $2,906,250 of the more than $3.8 million project.
