SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 8 -- The California Department of Education issued the following news release:
State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson announced today that nine districts have been designated as models of attendance improvement and dropout prevention by the State School Attendance Review Board (State SARB).
