BLACKSBURG, Va., March 10 -- Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University issued the following news release:
Virginia Tech has again earned Tree Campus USA recognition from the Arbor Day Foundation for its dedication to campus forestry management and environmental stewardship.
This is the third year Virginia Tech has been named a Tree Campus USA. It is the only institution of higher education in Virginia so recognized.
