ROCKVILLE, Md., March 8 -- Montgomery County issued the following council news release:
The Montgomery County Council today approved a resolution urging the Maryland General Assembly to adopt legislation that would grant all Maryland residents in-state tuition to Maryland colleges and universities regardless of their immigration status. The measure passed unanimously by all Councilmembers present (8-0). Councilmember Nancy Navarro was the chief sponsor of the resolution.
