AUGUSTA, Ga., March 9 -- The Georgia's Health Sciences University issued the following news release:

Dr. Michael Macfee, Vice Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Health Sciences University, has been named Interim Department Chairman.

Dr. Ana Alvarez Murphy, Chairwoman since June 2006, will remain on faculty as a professor in the Section of Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility and Genetics.
