HANOVER, N.H., May 20 -- Dartmouth College issued the following news release:
Dartmouth has been awarded $800,000 from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (http://www.hhmi.org/) (HHMI) for a program aimed at retaining undergraduates in the sciences. It's one of many new HHMI grants totaling $79 million that will help universities nationwide strengthen undergraduate and precollege science education.
At Dartmouth, the funding will help establish a new introductory bio . . .
