TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Dec. 10 -- The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission issued the following news release:
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) ended a two-day meeting in Clewiston Thursday. Commissioners voted to retain Rodney Barreto as chairman and selected Dick Corbett to serve as vice chairman for 2010.
During the Wednesday session, the FWC adopted final rules allowing use of peregrine falcons for falconry in Florida.
