WASHINGTON, Dec. 2 -- The office of the Washington, D.C., Mayor issued the following news release:
Mayor Adrian M. Fenty today appointed Jesus Aguirre to the position of District of Columbia interim director of the Department of Parks and Recreation. Aguirre brings 17 years of management experience in organizations serving youth and their families, including two and a half years as District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) Director of School Operations.
