CHEYENNE, Wyo., Sept. 1 -- Gov. Dave Freudenthal, D-Wyo., issued the following proclamation:
WHEREAS, Archaeology is the scientific study of human behavior by investigating the material evidence of features and artifact assemblages left behind at sites that survive on the landscape; and
WHEREAS, Wyoming Archaeology Awareness Month was created in 1990, Wyoming's centennial year, to better acquaint the public with the discipline of archaeology and strengthen the endur . . .
