MOUNT OLIVE, N.C., Nov. 26 -- Mount Olive College issued the following news release:
James Cahoon of Columbia received the 2008 Distinguished Service Award at Mount Olive College's Annual Alumni Homecoming Weekend. The award, presented by Barry Whitley of Florida, an MOC alumnus and former college roommate of Cahoon's, was given for participation and leadership in activities which promote the advancement of Mount Olive College.
