WASHINGTON, July 15 -- The Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law issued the following news release:
Congress voted quickly and overwhelmingly to override the President's veto, by 383-41 in the House and 70-26 in the Senate. The Medicare Improvements Act, with equal coverage of mental health services, becomes law.
Just a few days after reconvening from the July recess, the Senate joined the House in passing the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2 . . .
