KANSAS CITY, Kan., Nov. 25 -- The Environmental Protection Agency Region 7 office issued the following news release:
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded six grants, totaling $1,174,834, for wetland protection and management projects in Region 7.
Region 7 Administrator John Askew said, "Protecting our nation's wetlands is a top priority for EPA. These funds will help to achieve environmental improvements in our local watersheds."
