COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Nov. 25 -- EL Paso County issued the following news release:
The El Paso County Retirement Plan is predicting a 4.7 percent shortfall in payroll contributions to the plan assuming the continuation of current market conditions.
Members of the Board of Retirement note this is not an ongoing shortfall of $4.7 million dollars as indicated in some media reports but is rather a shortfall of a percentage of current County and participating agencie . . .
