COLLEGE PARK, Md., Oct. 28 -- The University of Maryland issued the following news release:
The University of Maryland is ranked No. 9, its highest ranking ever, in Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine's 100 Best Values in Public Colleges. In the last Kiplinger's rankings, UM was No. 28. The previous best was No. 15 in 2006. (The rankings pertain to in-state tuition fees.)
