BOSTON, June 12 -- The Massachusetts Executive Office for Administration & Finance's Department of Revenue issued the following news release:
A South Carolina tax-relief company that claims to be able to settle consumers' debt with the IRS for "pennies on the dollar" has agreed to stop misleading consumers about its services and pay $1.5 million in restitution, Attorney General Martha Coakley's Office announced today.
