ALBANY, N.Y., Sept. 16 -- New York State Sen. Charles J. Fuschillo Jr., R-Merrick (8th District), issued the following news release:

State Sen. Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th District) today urged Governor David Paterson to sign into law legislation that would prevent credit card companies from unfairly hiking interest rates on credit card holders who make late payment to another lender.
