ALBANY, N.Y., Aug. 7 -- New York State Sen. Charles J. Fuschillo Jr., R-Merrick (8th District), issued the following news release:
State Sen. Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. today announced that legislation he sponsored to prohibit convicted sex offenders from obtaining or holding a real estate license in New York State has been signed into law by Governor Paterson. The new law will help prevent dangerous sex offenders from gaining access to the homes of New York families.
