INDIANAPOLIS, May 12 -- The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point issued the following news release:
The 23rd-ranked UW-Stevens Point baseball team will be the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Division III Baseball Central Regional hosted by Augustana College and will open up against Linfield College on Wednesday.
Also playing in the six-team regional is Illinois Wesleyan (33-9), who is the top seed, the host, Augustana College (32-11), Wartburg College (IA) (26-13), Linfield . . .
