WASHINGTON, Oct. 29 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency has issued the following press release:
The U.S. Department of Agriculture designated the entire state of Vermont, all 14 counties, as a primary natural disaster area because of losses caused by excessive rain, flooding, flash flooding, high winds, hail, lightning and tornadoes that occurred during the period of June 1, 2008, through Aug. 31, 2008.
