CRONKITE SENIOR NAMED TOP TEN SCHOLAR

TEMPE, Ariz., Oct. 29 -- Arizona State University issued the following press release:

For the second year in a row, a senior in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University has been named one of the top 10 journalism students in the country by the Scripps Howard Foundation.

Deanna Dent of Tempe won a $10,000 scholarship for her academic and journalistic achievements. Ryan Kost, who graduated in May, won the Scripps Howa . . .
