IRVING, Texas, March 18 -- North Lake College issued the following news release:
The North Lake College Blazer basketball team won the 2008 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III national title with a 73-70 win over Joliet Junior College, Ill. The tournament ended on Saturday, March 15 in Delhi, New York. The North Lake Blazers also won the tournament in 2006.
