NEW YORK EGG PRODUCTION UP SEVEN PERCENT IN SEPTEMBER

ALBANY, N.Y., Oct. 22 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's New York Agricultural Statistics office issued the following press release:

Egg production on New York farms totaled 98 million eggs in September 2008, up 7 percent from last year, according to Stephen Ropel, Director of USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service, New York office.
