ALBANY, N.Y., Oct. 20 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's New York Agricultural Statistics office issued the following press release:
New York dairy herds produced 995 million pounds of milk during September according to Stephen Ropel, Director of USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service, New York Field office. Milk cows were unchanged from the previous year while milk per cow increased from the previous year resulting in a 1 percent increase in milk production compared . . .
