BRUSSELS, Belgium, Aug. 27 -- The European Union issued the following common foreign and security policy statement:
The European Union welcomes the release of the two remaining political prisoners on the EU's list, Mr Sergei Parsiukevich and Mr Andrei Kim, by the Belarusian authorities on 20 August 2008. Their release, which follows the release of five political prisoners at the beginning of this year and, more recently, of Mr Kozulin, means that there are no longer any priso . . .
