MADISON, Wis., Oct. 19 -- The University of Wisconsin issued the following news release:
When the Mechanical Engineering Building on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus opened its doors in 1930, sliding chalkboards and concrete floors were among its most innovative features.
Today, more than 270,000 square feet of new and completely renovated space still features concrete floors. This time, however, all of the floors are souped-up to accommodate heavy laborat . . .
