COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Nov. 20 -- Texas A&M University issued the following news release:
There is an unknown world under the ice sheets of Antarctica that contains dozens - if not hundreds - of lakes and large rivers, and the scientific knowledge learned from the study of these environments will change our understanding of the planet we live on, says a Texas A&M University professor who is leading coordination of the study of these unexplored systems.
