ATLANTA, Aug. 18 -- The Environmental Protection Agency Region 4 office issued the following news release:
On August 20, 2008, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will announce the award of a $2 million grant to the University of Kentucky to study nanoparticles. This is the largest EPA Science to Achieve Results (STAR) grant ever awarded to the University of Kentucky as well as the largest single grant ever awarded by EPA STAR for nanotechnology research.
